12.04  Line Table  (SL)

FUNCTION:  The Line Table routine allows you to insert a table of line data into your drawing at a specified location.  Typically this is data pertaining to lines which were too short to support normal annotation.

Activate the Line Table routine by picking from the Draw > Insert menu; by pressing [Alt][D], [I], [L]; or by typing the two-letter command SL at any data entry prompt.

When activated, focus shifts to your CAD application where you are prompted to select a location for the line table.  The location selected is the upper left corner of the table.  The table is constructed on the Supplemental Table Layer using the Text Font, Text Size, and Text Color properties as set on the Drawing Properties menu (PR - Section 5.10).

The data is placed in the table as individual elements, and it is not grouped.  If you want to move the table to another location after you have placed it in the drawing, be sure to select all the elements in the table.

After the table is placed "Sight" Survey prompts:

Select [Yes] to continue enumerating lines from the last used line ID number, or select [No] to reset the line counter to 1.

Resetting the Line Counter:  At any time you may reset the line counter to 1 by selecting Draw > Insert > Reset Line Table or entering the two-letter command LX.  You will be asked to confirm your decision.
