This command adds points into lines or polylines where there are
intersections. This can be useful for other commands such as
Auto-Annotate. For example in the drawing shown, Add Intersection
Points adds points to the boundary polyline where the lot lines
intersect. Then Auto Annotate for the boundary polyline will label
the boundary distance along each lot. This routine does not add
intersection points on arcs.
This command can also be helpful for surface modeling with
breakline polylines. At crossings, breakline polylines must have
the same elevations for surface modeling. This command has an
option to average the elevations of the polyline vertices at the
crossing when the elevation difference is smaller than the
specified tolerance.
