Divide Along Entity

This command locates points along an entity such as a line, polyline, spline or arc. You must specify the number of divisions.

Prompts

Interpolate Elevations [Yes/<No>]: press Enter
Select Entity to Divide: pick point on entity
Number of Divisions/Segments: 15
The command then locates 14 points.

Pulldown Menu Location: COGO > Interpolate Points
Keyboard Command: divent
Prerequisite: 2 points if you want to interpolate elevations
