Material Quantities by Layer

Function

This command allows you to calculate linear, area, and volume quantities from selected polylines by looking up their layers in the Define Materials list, which must be previously established using the Define Materials command. The command first prompts to select all of the polylines that you want included in the report, which must be already created on the layers specified in the Material List. The Report Formatter is then presented, and the data that is desired in the report is added from the Available list to the Used list, and the report is then generated in whatever format desired.

Here we have selected to report material, length and a user-defined attribute, PRICE.

Prompts

Select the polylines to process. select polyline(s)
Select objects: press Enter
Report Formatter Options dialog choose conditions as described above
