3D Entity by Surface Model

Function

This command assigns the elevations of the selected points, inserts, lines and polylines to the elevations defined by the specified grid (.GRD) or triangulation (.FLT, .TIN) file. For lines and polylines, additional vertices are added to model the surface. 3D Polylines cannot have arcs, so any arcs in the original 2D polylines are converted to a series of chords. There is an option to retain the original polylines in case you need to keep the 2D polylines with the arcs.
