Create GIS Polylines by Interior Text

Function

This command creates GIS polylines by taking each text entity and creating a closed polyline around the text from the selected linework. The text value is used as a field in the GIS data. This routine allows you to add data to existing closed polylines. The Entity Handle option off of the first prompt also gives you a Create New Entities choice. You will notice that as you choose any of one table listed under Tables from Output MDB, in either entry dialog box, the fields shown under Fields from Selected Table will change to represent the table selected.
